The Skiing Information & Webcams
The Espace San Bernardo
The international ski area of the Espace San Bernado consists of 30 lifts providing access to 150km of perfectly groomed piste, a snowboard park, an international link to La Thuile, Italy and, for the more adventurous, access to large areas of off piste.
Thanks to the Petit St Bernard Pass attracting clouds and Mont Blanc then trapping them, combined with the altitude, La Rosiere has one of the best snow records in the French Alps. With its south facing slopes it is also the sunniest resort in the Savoy so providing the perfect combination of snow and sun!
The Pistes
The pistes will provide skiing and snowboarding for the beginner through to the more experienced although the intermediate is best catered for. The wide-open runs give you the perfect place to perfect your turns as well as making it an ideal family resort. Another major bonus in La Rosiere are the queues for the chair lifts. Apart from very busy times of the season queues for the lifts are minimal (the longest we queued last year was 25 minutes during a very busy week in February).
If you fancy getting some air time the snow-park is the place for you. With 1 pyramid, 2 tabletops, 2 big air jumps, 2 hand rails and 1 slide there is more than enough to hurt yourself, trust me I know! There is now a dedicated button lift to help you make the most of your time.
Heli Skiing
A big draw for the advanced skier and boarder is the opportunity to heli-ski. While still illegal in France, you can heli-ski in Italy. So a quick hop over the border and you are only a helicopter trip from the best ride of your life.

Ski the Vallee Blanche
For those who don't feel they are quite up to heli-skiing why not try the Vallee Blanche? Located in Chamonix it is a day trip from La Rosiere. The Vallee Blanche is one of the most well known off piste routes in France. You start at 3842m in Chamonix and descend 20km into the heart of the Mont Blanc Massif. You ski through the wide open expanse of the Glacier du Geant and then around the amazing crevasses and seracs of the Glacier du Tacul. The views are stunning and the high mountain environment provides a real sensation of wilderness.
Day Trips To Other Resorts
As well as the international ski area of La Rosiere / La Thuile it is only a 20-30 minute drive to Ste Foy, Tignes, Val d'Isere and Les Arc.
With a 6 day pass you can now ski in Val d'Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs and Le Plagne for 20 per day and Ste Foy for 9 per day.
