COURCHEVEL
Courchevel is part of the 3 valleys network which includes the resorts of Meribel, La Tania, Les Menuires and Val Thorens, making the largest linked ski area in the world.
There are 600kms of pistes, over 200 lifts and 10 villages all accessible on 1 3 valley pass.
You will enjoy the skiing whatever your ability, there is something for everyone from wide open pistes to steep couloirs, bumps and off piste too.
Split into 5 villages between 1100 metres and 1850 metres above sea level all having their own character and charm.
From the luxury hotels, gastronomic restaurants and fancy boutiques in 1850 to the quaint alleyways in the lovely village of Le Praz at 1300 metres where you have the feel of a real alpine village with original chalets and renovated ancient barns.
There is a free bus service between the villages.
THE SKIING
Courchevel in the heart of the huge 3 valleys ski area is suitable for all levels of skiers and boarders. With over 600kms of piste and 188 ski lifts, you will find beautiful tree lined runs, wide open pistes, steep couloirs, huge mogul fields, snow parks and half pipes there is plenty to keep everyone happy.
Even if you do not venture beyond the Courchevel valley you have access to 150kms of skiing, 102 ski runs serviced if required by 562 snow cannons. Courchevel has its own 160 person cable car, 6 seater chairlifts and 8 person gondolas plus magic carpets for beginners.
